WATCH THIS SPACE, MARK YOUR CALENDARS! RARE local East Bay Larry Hanks & Deborah Robins House Concert is now scheduled for Sunday, May 1, 2016. Seating is limited and will sell out fast. (The hosts will begin taking reservations via e-mail on April, 2016.) This is a charming and big old house near the Grand Lake Theater in Oakland. It is the perfect all-acoustic setting to hear the voices and instruments ring out, and be able to hear every word and nuance of each song!
Deborah will also be featuring songs from her brand spankin' NEW CD (of brand spankin' OLD songs!): Lone Journey, which will be available for sale at the concert! Larry and Deborah will perform their ecclectic mix of Songs of the West, blues and rags, work songs, songs of home and hearth, and unaccompanied singing as well. Larry is putting the finishing touches on his 2nd solo album, which features songs about Western (US) migration. Now celebrating his 50th year as a beloved "folksinger's folksinger", this will be a grand evening of Larry Hanks voice and heart-warming repertoire!
